Think by yourself.
You know that time that you see when you grew up and have to take care of your own nose? Yeah, it happened. I grew up and I had no idea about it. The reality sometimes doesn't look like the truth, sometimes it makes you think that you are still a child ou like someone that doesn't make any decision and don't take care of her/his own nose. It doesn't let you be focused, makes you lose to notion of time and then you don't see you are a teenager ou an adult, therefore when you start to think of it your reality falls down, you realise how much time has passed by and that you need to be independent now. It's time to make your own decisions, it's time to think of your future because it's on you hands and you hadn't realized.
When I realized I was upset and I started to think “What I am going to do now?”. Ok, I know that 15 doesn't look that much, but it is! We need to start thinking about the college, in your future job, trips and even about the family we are going to have. At least in my thoughts it was like that, totally worried. But time has passed and I saw I shouldn't had been that dramatic, but I really needed to do something about my life and don't let it by you know?! Than I started thinking about my dreams that I wanted to become true and once I tought I would never happen. My conclusion then came in my mind and I started really following my dreams, one of then an exchange program! It's one of my dreams I tought that would never be truth (at least untill 18). Now i'm totaly surprised because it became my reality! But I'm not on the point yet. I'm gonna tell you what happened before!
All begin when I talked to my parents and my mom said she agreed it, but my dad first said that I should search for more information therefore it was a great idea. After that I went insane, I started looking for information and agencies of exchange. After a time I had called 12 agencies, get all the prices, info and showed to my dad... Then he said yes! We choose an agency that my dad knew people who had done exchange there and that was with a good price, after that we called there again and set a date to go there. In the same week we went there and talked abou the High School Program, a week after that I went there again and made the Slep Test, which is an exam half writing/ half oral to see if you know how to understand english.
Before we sign the contract and everything eles my dad travelled 3 times because of his work and I was to freaking happy and ansious about this that I even made my dad impacient and mad at me, besides it everything went right! And now I'm with my application on my hands (not literally because it's online) and maybe it's to soon, but I really wanted to make a blog about it so here I am, and pre-exchange student saying all what I'm feeling lol
And a tip for you: we are all growing up and one time you need to be independent, so at the time that it happen you need to make some decisions in your like, so stop and think of it, think with your on mind, thus the decision is in tour hands and just YOU can choose right thing for yourself.
